Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • Oil for frying
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 4 soft buns
  • 1 cup sliced cucumbers

Instructions

  1. Begin by marinating the chicken breast pieces in a mixture of milk and eggs for at least 1 hour.
  2. Combine the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and coat thoroughly in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat until hot (about 175°C).
  5. Fry the chicken pieces for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. After frying, place the chicken in a bowl with hot sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Assemble the sandwich by placing the spicy chicken in a soft bun and topping it with sliced cucumbers.

Notes

Marinate chicken overnight for more flavor. Adjust spiciness by modifying the amount of cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
