Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 250 g ground meat (beef or turkey)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Cheese (optional)
  • Buns (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  2. Prepare cabbage leaves by cutting them into large leaves and blanching them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix ground meat, chopped onion, garlic, and egg in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Form equal patties from the meat mixture and place them on a greased baking tray.
  5. Wrap each patty with the blanched cabbage leaves.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Optional: Add cheese on top 5 minutes before finishing baking.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding spices or mixing vegetables in the meat filling.
